Coordinator Statutory Planning

Position overview 

This is a full time, ongoing position based in Bairnsdale. 

The purpose of the role is to coordinate the delivery of services and projects undertaken by the Statutory Planning Team and the day to day operations of the team. 

What you will need to succeed 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant qualification in Town Planning and experience in land use planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with service users and all other relevant stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and procedures related to the functions of the Development Unit.
  • Ability and capacity to make independent and unassisted decisions.
  • Willingness to work with, assist and mentor other less experienced professionals.
  • Ability to lead, innovate and adapt to change.
  • A current, valid Victorian driver’s licence.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a current Police Check. Applicants for this position must be legally entitled to work in Australia.
