The Opportunity

As the Procurement Business Partner, you’ll support the organisation with end-to-end procurement and contract processes. You’ll work closely with business units to provide advice on tendering and supplier engagement, prepare and manage contract documentation, and assist with the rollout of an end-to-end contractor management system. The role also includes maintaining supplier records and supporting compliance with procurement policies and legislation.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Prepare tender documentation and implement tender processes, including assisting with preparation of evaluation processes.
  • Ensure contracts are complete, accurate and aligned with processes and procedures.
  • Provide procurement advice and support to business units.
  • Support rollout and contractor engagement for new contract management systems.
  • Help manage supplier databases and pre-qualified contractor panels.

 

This is a full time, ongoing opportunity, based in Bairnsdale.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in procurement, tendering and contract administration, ideally in a government or regulated environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to advise and support staff across the organisation with procurement processes.
  • A detail-oriented approach with sound judgement and the ability to interpret procurement guidelines and processes.
  • Organisational and planning skills to manage multiple procurement activities and meet required deadlines.

 

If successful, you will need to undertake a police check. You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
