The Opportunity: As the Aquatics Operations Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily operations across our aquatic facilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional customer experiences. You'll lead a team of lifeguards, duty managers, and team leaders while implementing best-practice operational and maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing aquatic operations team.
- Ensure facilities meet legislative, safety, and customer service standards.
- Manage aquatic assets, equipment, and service agreements.
- Oversee rosters, training, and operational budgets.
This is a full-time, ongoing position based in Bairnsdale, with regular travel across the region.
What we’re looking for (Key Selection Criteria)
- Demonstrated experience in leading Recreation Centre Pool operations.
- Demonstrated experience in asset management.
- Demonstrated experience in Lifeguarding.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of staff.
- Demonstrated experience leading onsite Health and Safety auditing tasks.
- Strong Customer Service skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Industry recognised qualification in pool operations and chemical handling.
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
- Provide First Aid Certificate.
If successful, you will need to undertake a police check, pre-employment medical and psychometric testing and hold an employee WWCC. You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
