The Opportunity

As the Civil Infrastructure Administration Officer, you’ll provide critical administrative support to the Infrastructure and Open Space team. You’ll play a key role in delivering Council’s Asset Maintenance programs by ensuring efficient processes and excellent communication.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager and team with correspondence, reports, and system updates.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and minutes for contractors and internal staff.
  • Manage asset and contractor systems to drive process improvements.
  • Administer purchase orders and ensure compliance with OH&S policies.

 

This is a full-time, limited tenure opportunity from February to October 2025 to cover a period of leave and is based in Kalimna West.

 

Things You’re Proud Of (Key Selection Criteria)

  • High level of skill or experience in administration support as personal assistant or the like.
  • Understanding of Local Government or service provider operations.
  • Demonstrated ability of working in a team environment using initiative and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours if required

 

If successful, you will need to undertake a police check. You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
