Organisation Development Coordinator

Position overview 

East Gippsland Shire Council is seeking a qualified and talented individual to coordinate organisation development projects and initiatives, and maintain the organisations commitment to continuous improvement.

Our Organisation Development Coordinator will support the implementation of Council's Service Reviews framework, the Staff Culture Survey, the Gender Equality Action Plan, and other new programs. The successful applicant will also support the organisation of events, development of policy and procedure, and creating professional development opportunities.

Role Details:

  • A full-time ongoing role is on offer, based in Bairnsdale.
  • Supervise and support the team: the Organisation Development Project Officer and the Learning and Development Officer.
  • Opportunity to work an ADO-schedule.
  • Valuable and rewarding role focusing on organisation-wide improvements in culture, service quality and customer service.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • A tertiary qualification in an appropriate field, such as Business Management, Human Resource Management, Organisation Psychology or at least five year’s experience in a similar role developing and facilitating organisation development projects.
  • Proven ability to successfully design and implement a range of organisational development initiatives.
  • Ability to influence staff at all levels to foster commitment, involvement and enthusiasm towards corporate goals, priorities and processes.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience in autonomously managing projects involving a cross section of stakeholders.
  • A current, valid Victorian driver’s licence.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a current Police Check, and pre-employment medical. Applicants for this position must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
