Position overview
We are looking for candidates that are passionate about the water, that understand how important learning to swim is for everyone and have a desire to teach this skill within the community. You need to have a love for the water and an energetic (and patient!) side of you to create a fun, informative environment for the participants of your classes.
There are numerous casual positions open, based at the Lakes Entrance Aquadome and the Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre.
We can provide a supportive environment to learn how to become a swim teacher and conduct classes, and you will have a fun, team orientated place to work in. The role also has further development opportunities!
You do not have to have the qualifications before applying, if you are willing to obtain them and have the qualities we are looking for, we want to see an application from you!
